Lockdown in exile

When news came that the Central Coast was to be cut off from the Greater Sydney area, I realised I couldn’t go home. If I return to Sydney I won’t be able to visit my partner, or my ailing father and frail sister, all of whom live on the coast. So I’m now based in Patonga, making frequent trips to Davistown to care for family.

There are, of course, few better places to be stuck. I walk on the beach, hike up the bush track, read in the garden—and I have an office set up in the Gypsy Rose.

My (ridiculously ancient) laptop on my (family heirloom) escritoire on my (garage sale) butler’s table makes a surprisingly comfortable desk.

Development of the Philosophilia website is powering along; if you haven’t yet looked at it I beg you to do so now: https://philosophilia.com.au/

See what your dollars have helped me do 😉
