Video 2: Gender and Language

January’s video slid past the post of public release on the afternoon of the last day of the month – I had to whip the editor a bit, and I felt the lack of my social media manager, who was away with family. A week later I’m remembering (at a convenient time, at last) to connect the video to the website.

I’m pleased to note a pattern emerging here already, and I don’t mean the tightening focus of the script and production, though that’s far from unrelated; I mean more views, more likes, more comments. We are growing.

So come on in with your thoughts – your agreement, disagreement, anecdotes, comparisons, questions, ideas – in the YouTube comments or on social media.

Or, if you want to engage in considered (even scholarly) debate, hit the Articles tab on this site and find the post titled Video Text: Gender and Language, where you can check directly against the script and copy/paste to quote.
