Thank you for bearing with me, for being with me, through these past months. Your steady, undemanding support means the world to me, so I want to give you all a good heads-up that things are soon to change.
You remember, months ago, I was talking about a set of cards with meaningful messages on them, thorny philosophical questions about how to make the world a better place? Well, that dawning realisation that I had a set of concepts which together made a coherent, wholesome, deeply controversial cosmology has become <drumroll>… an outrageous new YouTube channel, Philosophilia.
At least, it’s about to. After multiple mind maps, many pages of notes and the slow but steady building of a team, we have at last started filming. The channel will launch with three 1-2min videos (which will be drip-fed to social media for the month preceding) and one 10min one. I’ve engaged a media professional to help me restructure my entire online presence and, of course, promote the launch.
But here’s the thing: the channel’s principal means of support will be a Patreon page, plugged at the end of every video over 5mins. It doesn’t make sense for me to keep two pages running; I’ve had a look in Settings and I think all I have to do is change the name of this one.
But wait! It’s a couple of weeks away yet, so there’s plenty of time to answer your questions and banish your doubts. Lay it on me. I’m more excited about this project than I have been for anything in a very long time.
