After weeks in Redfern reorganising my tax system, renegotiating my rent, and repairing and rehanging a picture that fell off the wall two months ago (the wire snapped, fortunately in my bedroom, the only carpeted room in the house), on Saturday, giving myself a weary pat on the back, I retreated to Patonga for a few days.
It’s so peaceful here. Here’s a shot of Al on the beach, up the other end from the earlier shots, with more bushfire wood.
Also, as promised on Facebook, here’s a preview of my latest hair sport. It’s been blond for a week, then coloured because I ran out of toner. It’s currently almost always under wool, because my ears get cold. I hope you’re all staying warm, or enjoying a bracing walk.
Next week it’s back to the grindstone, with emergency council grant applications to write and more taxes. Are you emerging from lockdown yet? Talk to me here any time.
